Now to this week’s enzyme..
This week, Hanoi lifted the pandemic restriction. As we are all transitioning into the new normal, many of us might be contemplating a change. Especially if you find yourself in a transition phase, here are two key insights that have changed my life.
First, transition is not a "doing". You cannot immediately WORK HARDER or DO MORE to figure out the next steps. At some points, you will need to take action, but if you still find yourself doing doing doing to no good result, chances are you are skipping this first, most counter-intuitive step for the striver in all of us: not doing.
Like pressing the brake so that a car doesn't veer off the edge, this "nondoing" also takes "effort", albeit a different kind. The struggle is to relax into awareness of the here-and-now, so that our habitual patterns (especially the stories we tell ourselves in our head such as "I'm not good enough / doing enough " or "the world is a bad place").
The change you are seeking has to start NOW. It's not some better future, i.e once you have that dream job, position or partner. The shift happens right NOW. Then from that place of centeredness, you are able to see more options, possibilities, and clarity, from which those goodies you don’t even know you’ve been drooling for will pop up.
I'm experimenting with vlogging, and you might find this video I made for the upcoming course helpful.
Please share any feedback and suggestion so that I could make more videos in the future 😇
Quick reminder
My course there, Play with What We Most Love, is happening next weekend. If you are a loyal Enzyme reader, you likely will get a 20% off, so just let me know if you are intending to join us 😀 Please forward it to friends who might find it helpful too.
That’s it for this short n sweet enzyme. Wishing you SO WELL!
